There is so much coming up this month we thought we’d forgo the usual newsletter and just give you a date update. If you’d like more info please email us back. 4th March Ladies Lunch – 12.30pm
6th March Lisa Pritchard’s Pottery for children. Four week course.
12th March Blazin Fiddles in concert, launch of Paul Taggart’s “Blazin rehearsal”. Tickets £27.50 (includes welcome drink and supper) Doors at 6.30pm
20th March MacGregor, Brechin and O’hEadhra in concert in association with Feis Rois. Tickets £9/£4.50 or £19 with meal. Half price for those purchasing tickets for Blazin Fiddles concert.
21st March Open session with Feis Rois and MBO
26th March Bruce MacGregor’s Highland Fiddle School. Intensive tuition with one of Scotland’s finest musicians.
3rd &4th April Dad’s and Lads weekend. See below for details
4-6th June Northern Roots Music Festival. An eclectic mix of folk, country, bluegrass, and roots acoustic music, our wee festival returns with a great line up including wild Balkan sounds from Moshie’s Bagel, heavenly harmonies from the Bevvy Sisters, sparkling tunes from Mairead Green and Anna Massie, soulful bluegrass from Blue Flint, great new songs from Dean Owens and Allan Frew and the most spectacular instrumentals from the wonderful Tim Eady. This is a must for lovers of real music.
SPECIAL OFFER – early bird tickets. We have a very limited number of discounted weekend tickets. These are £45 but we are offering a 20% discount to those who book before 1st April. That is £36 for 5 concerts and three festival club nights! Tickets for the concerts are £15/£12 for individual concerts. Dad’s and lad’s weekend with Neil Foote and Nick Martin
We are planning a Dad’s and Lad’s activity weekend during the Easter holidays (3rd & 4th April). Neil Foote from Backcountry survival will be teaching our group survival techniques and Nick Martin will be taking the group for nature rambles. We will also be offering Archery classes and throwing in some team building exercises and tasks. It will be a weekend of fun, entertainment and education.
